Neotherm+ 100mm window installation profile

The Psi coefficient (Ψ, W/(m·K)) is the linear thermal transmittance of the installation joint. The lower the Psi, the less heat escapes around the window reveal. Under the Lithuanian building regulation STR 2.01.02:2016, the permitted Ψ value around a window opening is 0.05 W/(m·K) — the same for energy performance classes A, A+ and A++.

A Neotherm+ profile is a structural thermal insulation element that takes and distributes the weight load of the window, rather than just filling the gap. According to the manufacturer's declaration, its compressive strength CS(10) is ≥1500 kPa and its bending strength BS is ≥1700 kPa. Ordinary PU sealing foam has no such structural properties and is not intended to carry loads.
